Alex McFarlane wins prize for best poster at prestigious U.S. conference

Alex McFarlane, whose research is focused on biofilm development in aircraft fuel distribution systems, has won a prize for best poster at the IASH 2015 14th International Symposium on Stability, Handling and Use of Liquid Fuels in Charleston.

New Visiting Professor of Environmental Science appointed to GPRG

Dr Owen Fenton, a hydrogeologist and soil scientist within the renowned Agriculture and Food Development Authority in Ireland (Teagasc), was appointed Visiting Professor of Environmental Science in the GPRG from September 2016.
